(i) जगह का अनुवाद

1. वहाँ कितनी जगह है?
How much space is there?

2. इस बर्थ पर जगह नहीं है।
There is no room on this berth.

3. कश्मीर एक सुन्दर जगह है।
Kashmir is a lovely place

4. मेरे कॉलेज में एक जगह खाली है।
One post has fallen vacant in my college.

5. यदि मैं तुम्हारी जगह होता।
Were I in your place.

6. अब सुधार की कोई जगह नहीं है।
There is now no scope for improvement.

(ii) पानी का अनुवाद

1. मुंगेर का पानी अच्छा है।
The climate of Munger is good..

2. मुझे थोड़ा पानी दो
Give me a glass of water.

 3. अभी पानी पड़ रहा है।
It is raining now.

4. आप मेरा पानी रखें।
Please save my prestige.

5. उसके चेहरे पर पानी है।
There is lustre on his face.

6. वह पानी-पानी हो गया
He was perplexed.

7. घोड़ा पानी-पानी हो गया।
The horse got exhausted.

8. वह चाकू पर पानी चढ़ा रहा है।
He is sharpening a knife.

9. उसकी आशाओं पर पानी फिर गया।
His hopes were dashed to pieces.
His hopes ended in smoke.

10. मैं तुझे पानी पिला दूंगा।
You will catch a Tartar in me. I will teach you a lesson.

11. मेरे मुँह में पानी भर आया ।
My mouth began to water.
I was tempted.

12. चुल्लूभर पानी में डूब मरो।
Shame! Shame! Fie! Fie!

(iii) काम का अनुवाद

1. वह अपना काम ठीक से करता है।
He does his duty/work well.

 2. मुझे आपसे एक काम है।
I have a piece of business with you,

3. यह कलम काम की चीज है।
This pen is a useful thing.

 4. यह एक काम की तलाश में है।
He is in search of a job/employment.
5. आपका काम काज कैसा चल रहा है ।
What about your business/affairs ?

6. मेरा काम नहीं बन सका।
I was not able to succeed.

7. वह अपना काम निकालना चाहता है।
He likes to serve/attain his own end.

(iv) नाम का अनुवाद

1. आपका नाम क्या है?
What's your name?

2. आपका नाम चारों ओर फैल रहा है।
Your reputation is spreading far and wide.

3. इस रकम को मेरे नाम से जमा कर दें।
Please credit it to my account.

4. आपने अपना नाम कब लिखवाया?
When were you admitted?
When did you get yourself admitted?

5. आपका नाम कब कट गया?
When was your name struck off?

6. वह नामी लेखक है।
He is a famous/renowned/reputed author.

7. वह नामी चोर है।
He is a notorious thief.

8. वह नाम का राजा है।
He is a nominal king.
