(i) बात का अनुवाद


1. बात क्या है?     
What is the matter?

2. यह तो बुरी / अच्छी बात है।     
It is a bad good thing. It is bad/good.

3. यह तो बड़ी बात है।     
This is a serious matter.

4. यह बात मुझे पसन्द नहीं     
I don't like it.

5. यह अजीब बात है।     
This is strange /a strange thing.

6. यह झूठी बात है।     
It is false.

 7. यह सच्ची बात है।     
This is true.

सच्ची बात तो यह है।     
As a matter of fact.

8. यह बात सत्य है।     
It is a fact.

 9. बात यह है।     
The fact is.

10. एक समय की बात है।     
Once it so happened.

11. मुझे उससे बातें हुई।     
Thad a talk with him.

12. मैं उससे बाते कर रहा था।     
I was talking to him.

13. मैंने सारी बातें उसके सामने रखी।     
I placed everything before him.

14. तेरी बात मेरी समझ में नहीं आती।    
I am not able to understand you. I don't get you.

15. क्या बात करते हो?     
What do you talk about?

16. यह बात मुझे नहीं सूझी।
It didn't occur to me.

17. बात की बात में उसने सब कुछ कर दिया।
He did everything in the twinkling of an eye.

18. छोटी-छोटी बातों की चिंता न करो।
Don't worry about trifles

19. कड़वी बातें झगड़े में अंत होती है।
Biter words end in quarrel.

20. मीठी / चिकनी चुपड़ी बातें सबको खुश कर देती है।
His honeyed words please everybody.

21. मैं आपसे दो बातें कुछ बाते करना चाहता हूँ।
I want to have a word or two with you.

22. बात मत बनाओ
Don't spin yarn.

23. यह अफसोस दुख की बात है।
It is matter of regret/sorrow.

24. उसने मेरी समस्याओं को बातों में उड़ा दिया
He dismissed my problems.

25, उसने मेरी बातों पर ध्यान नहीं दिया।
He didn't pay heed to me.

26. मैं बात का पक्का हूँ।
I am a man of word.

27. वह अपनी बातों से मुड गया।
He went back on his word.

28 मैं उसकी बातों में आ गया।
I was taken in by his words

29. कोई बात नहीं/यह महत्त्व की बात नहीं
It is not a great matter.

30. यह हँसने की बात नहीं।
It is not a laughing matter.

31. जहाँ तक उसकी बात का (संबंध) है।
So far as his matter is concerned.

32. बात पक्की हो गई।
The terms are settled/finalised.

33. हमलोगों में बाता-बाती हो गई।
We exchanged hot words/We had words with one another.

34. बात बहुत बिगड़ गई।
The matter took a serious turn.

35. लम्बी-चौड़ी बातें मत करो।
Don't talk big. Don't boast.

36. मुझे लम्बी-चौड़ी बाते पसन्द नहीं ।
I don't like tall talks.

37. छोटा मुँह बड़ी बात
Small wits, great boast.

(ii) लाभ/ फायदा का अनुवाद :

1. अफसोस करने से कोई लाभ नहीं।
It is no use no good repenting.

2. इससे बहुत लाभ है।
The advantages of this are many.

3. मैंने बहुत फायदा उठाया |
I earned enormous profit.

4. तुम्हें इस परिस्थिति से लाभ उठाना चाहिए।
You should take advantage of this situation.

5. तुम्हें इस परिस्थिति से अनुचित लाभ नहीं उठाना चाहिए।
You shouldn't take undue advantage of this situation.

6. उनका गंगा लाभ हो गया।
He died. He is dead.

He passed away. He expired..

He breathed his last.

It is all over with him..

He gave up the ghost.

He departed from the world.

He paid the debt to nature.

He went the way of all flesh.

His soul left for the heavenly abode.

(iii) मिट्टी का अनुवाद :

1. यहाँ की मिट्टी उपजाऊ है।
The soil of this place is fertile.

2. उसे मिट्टी से ढंक दिया गया।
He was covered with earth.

3. वह मकान मिट्टी में मिल गया।
That house was reduced to dust.

4. मनुष्य मिट्टी का बना है।
Man is made of dust

5. वह मूर्ति मिट्टी की बनी है।
That image is made of clay.

6. वह घर मिट्टी में मिल गया।
That house was reduced to dust

(iv) रुपया-पैसा का अनुवाद

1. मुझे दस रुपये है।
I have ten rupees.

2. मुझे दस रुपये का एक नोट है।
I have a ten-rupee

 3. मुझे एक भी रुपया नहीं है।
I have no money. note.

4. आजकल मेरे पास पैसे नहीं/रुपये नहीं/रुपया पैसा नहीं
These days I am penniless.
These days I am out of pocket.

5. आजकल रुपया-पैसा ही सब कुछ है।
These days money is everything.

6. मेरे पास एक भी पैसा नहीं है।
I have not a single pice/farthing

7. मुझे एक रुपया भर सोना दो। Give me gold equal to one rupee (coin) in weight.
